Senior Creative Front-end Developer!

Hi there! We’re Merlin - A Code Boutique that helps extraordinary brands prove what’s possible through digital craft. We build high-end digital experiences where design, motion and the latest web tech come together, partnering closely with agencies, design studios and in-house teams to bring ambitious, bold and fun ideas to life, from immersive campaign work to brand experiences.

We’re looking for a senior creative developer with at least 5 years of experience in the field. This could be at a (bespoke) agency or studio, or maybe you’ve worked freelance on design-driven projects. Motion, detail and accessibility should be things you naturally pay attention to and not treat as afterthoughts.

As a senior, you’ll help shape the way we craft. You’ll share your knowledge, teach the team new tricks, and help set the bar for quality and implementation. You’ll take ownership of the more complex parts of projects, including technical direction and architecture decisions.

We’d love for you to work from our Amsterdam office, but we’re also open to remote applications. If you’re remote, we’d still like you to come by a few times a year, so we can spend some time together as a full team. We don’t provide housing, but we’re happy to help you figure out good areas to live in and around the city.

Salary range is €3200–€4600+, depending on experience and location.
